The history of MS Industrie AG
Since its foundation in 1991, the MS Industrie AG has developed into a successful business group. The acquisition of today’s MS Spaichingen GmbH and its subsidiary MS Industries Inc. in 2008 marked an important milestone here.
Foundation of MS XTEC LLC with seat in Charlotte, North Carolina
Opening of the MS Competence Center at the Ettlingen site with the expansion of the application portfolio to include continuous joining, stamping and perforating of nonwovens and the sealing of packaging.
The MS Ultrasonic Technology Group completes its product portfolio in the field of ultrasonic technologies with powerful and compact ultrasonic servo presses.
The division Powertrain Technology Group of MS Spaichingen GmbH changes its location to neighboring Trossingen/Schura. A new era begins.
MS “Welding Technology” and MS “Engine Technology” become “MS Ultrasonic Technology Group” and “MS Powertrain Technology Group”.
MS Industries Inc. moves within Michigan, USA – from Fowlerville to Webberville.
The Maschinenfabrik Spaichingen is renamed and is now called MS Spaichingen GmbH.
A second name change of GCI results in the contemporary name MS Industrie AG.
The activities of today’s MS Spaichingen GmbH are organized in the business divisions “Engine Technology” and “Welding Technology”.
GCI changes its name suffix as an expression of an industrial realignment and focusing strategy.
MS PowerTec GmbH is founded in Zittau, Saxony. Just two years later the site is expanded, due to the good order situation.
By acquiring today’s MS Spaichingen GmbH and MS Industries Inc., GCI expands its range of activities within an industrial environment.
GCI acquires the Elektromotorenwerk in Grünhain-Beierfeld (Saxony) as part of a succession plan.
GCI’s shares are traded freely from now on at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
GCI – Society for Consulting & Implementation – is co-founded in Munich by Dr. Andreas Aufschnaiter.
